Our event is a celebration of the diverse tapestry of Singapore's food landscape, bringing together local farmers, producers, chefs, changemakers and businesses at the forefront of sustainable practices.
Makan’ the Change is an opportunity to savour the flavour of positive impact, explore diverse facets of food sustainability, and contribute to a more conscious and flavourful future. Join us each Sunday to immerse yourself in a multi-modal learning experience that goes beyond the plate.

Do you offer discounts?We have a limited number of subsidised tickets available for students and those who are keen to attend Makan' the Change but are unable to afford the full ticket price. Please reach out to us at hello@bricolage.sg to request for subsidised tickets.

Can I attend the talks or dinner only?Each ticket covers the entire half-day event starting at 4:30 pm. We strongly encourage you to come for the entire programme to get the full learning experience! We have a limited number of talk only tickets available. Please reach out to us at hello@bricolage.sg to make a request.

How long is each event?Each event is 5 hours long, starting at 4:30 pm sharp and ending at 9:30 pm. Do arrive on time to make the most of the experience.

What is the seating arrangement like?For activities (talks, cooking demos, panel discussions, etc.), there is free seating. Dinner tables will be shared in groups of 8 to 10 people. Seating is assigned based on tickets purchased together, and you may be seated with others to fill a table. Contact us at hello@bricolage.sg to request to be seated with another group at dinner.

Can you accommodate allergies and dietary restrictions?Please inform us of any allergies and dietary restrictions in advance, either when purchasing tickets or by emailing hello@bricolage.sg. We will do our best to accommodate your dietary restrictions, however, we cannot guarantee accommodation of on-site requests. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate severe allergies due to the R&D-use nature of the venue's kitchen, where there may be trace amounts of common allergens.

What is accessibility like at the venue?The Arts House Annex is an old conservation building, and unfortunately, elevators are unavailable. The venue is on the second floor with staircase access only. Male and female toilets are located on both Level 1 and Level 2 of the venue.

Can I get a refund?All tickets sold are non-refundable, but transferable. If you are unable to attend, contact us at hello@bricolage.sg to transfer the ticket to a friend.

Bricolage & Friends
The Bricolage team is a group of friends who have come together over a shared passion for food and sustainability, and drive to do something positive for the community.
Makan' the Change is our team's inaugural project and is a non-profit, ground-up, community-driven initiative that we hope will enrich people's lives and contribute to the food sustainability movement in Singapore.
All proceeds from ticket and drinks sales go solely towards covering the costs of the event and education and outreach efforts.
